Fished offshore Sunday and Monday with some mixed results. With beautiful weather Sunday, we decided to take a boat ride and look for some tuna. Started off with a nice surprise by catching some perfect sized hardtails for bait. Hit 3 floaters and marked very few fish but we still managed to catch 4 yellowfins by using 4 different techniques (troll, chunk, live bait, and jig).
Decided to troll a few rigs on the way in with no luck except for some blackfins. Our last stop was the 7 mile rigs and they were loaded with small amberjacks. Got 2 keepers and one last minute scamp with the season closing.
